This is the README file for Tie::SortHash.

Tie::SortHash - Perl module to keep hashes in a sorted order

SYNOPSIS ( quickie )

  use Tie::SortHash;

  my %ascii     =  ( n => ord 'n', a => ord 'a', z => ord 'z' );

  my $sortblock = q( $hash{$a} <=> $hash{$b} );

  tie %ascii, 'Tie::SortHash', \%ascii, $sortblock;

  print "$_ => $ascii{$_}\n" foreach keys %ascii;

 This module ensures that the output will _always_ be:

  a => 97
  n => 110
  z => 122

 If, by chance, you don't know what this 'tar.gz' thing is... follow these
 steps first:

  gunzip Tie-SortHash-X.XX.tar.gz
  tar -xvf Tie-SortHash-X.XX.tar
  cd Tie-SortHash-X.XX

 Next, yep, you guessed it:

  perl Makefile.PL
  make test
  make install
