NAME - Configure a Makefile for the Windows port of perl


  S:\Smoke>W32Configure -c <config> [Configure options]


  • Configuration file

      -c | --config <configfile> Use the settings from the configfile can use the configuration file created by Other options can override the settings from the configuration file.

  • General options

      --ddir|-d    <builddir>     Specify the build directory
      --w32make|-m <nmake|dmake>  Specify the make program
      --verbose|-v <0..2>         Verbosity level
      --help|-h                   Show help
      --man                       Show the full perldoc
  • Configure options

    All configure options can just be specified on the command-line. When using a configuration file, you may ommit the '-DCCTYPE=' argument.

    For a list of configuration options please see Test::Smoke::Util.


This is still an alpha interface, anything could change

This is a raw interface to Test::Smoke::Util::Configure_win32(). Just pass it options for the Makefile on the command-line. See "Configure_win32" in Test::Smoke::Util for options you can pass!

The result is [builddir]\win32\ a makefile that has all the configure options you passed worked into it.

This could help debugging.
