Pod::Weaver::Plugin::Regexp::Pattern - Plugin to use when building Regexp::Pattern::* distribution

VERSION

This document describes version 0.011 of Pod::Weaver::Plugin::Regexp::Pattern (from Perl distribution Pod-Weaver-Plugin-Regexp-Pattern), released on 2022-05-08.

SYNOPSIS

In your weaver.ini:

 [-Regexp::Pattern]

DESCRIPTION

This plugin is to be used when building Regexp::Pattern::* distribution. Currently it does the following:

• Add a Synopsis section (if doesn't already exist) containing a few examples on how to use the module

• Add a description about Regexp::Pattern in the Description section

• Add a Regexp Patterns section containing list of patterns contained in the module

• Mention some modules in the See Also section, including Regexp::Pattern

Most of the time, you don't need to build the distribution yourself. You can simply modify the code, then test via:

 % prove -l

If you want to build the distribution (e.g. to try to install it locally on your system), you can install Dist::Zilla, Dist::Zilla::PluginBundle::Author::PERLANCAR, and sometimes one or two other Dist::Zilla plugin and/or Pod::Weaver::Plugin. Any additional steps required beyond that are considered a bug and can be reported to me.
